Historical monument
There are 43 historical and cultural reserves in Alakol district of Almaty region.
Monuments dedicated to the fallen of the great Patriotic war 21 who died during the creation of the Soviet Union - 3, heroes of the Cherkasy fortress 2, defenders of the Fatherland - 2, Karakerey Kabanbay - 1, D. A. Konaev-1, J. Balabanovo-1, Beksultan Torah Audibly-1, Anuar Alimzhanov-1, the victims of political repressions-1, red partisans-1, international -1 defenders of Afghanistan, the border-1 in honor of the 270 anniversary of the battle Anyrakay, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the great Victory-to 1, in honor of the fallen at the Arkankergen border-1 who fell in the civil war-1, intelligence-1.
Works are being carried out to clean up monuments in the districts, as well as events with young people about independence, about the heroic deeds of veterans and fallen of the great Patriotic war, about the historical significance and architectural structures of monuments.
Every year, on April 18, in honor of the international day for the protection of monuments in 24 rural districts and among school principals, work is carried out to promote the historical significance of monuments.
