Including agricultural land-4612.5 thousand hectares; land of settlements – 468.7 thousand hectares; land for industry, transport, communications, defense – 174.7 thousand hectares; land of specially protected natural areas – 11.6 thousand hectares; land of forest fund – 4429.0 thousand hectares; land of Water Fund – 356.2 thousand hectares. Reserve land – 1885.5 thousand hectares; the area used by another state-2492.6 thousand hectares. For 2019, 35.5 thousand hectares of arable land were left undeveloped in the districts of the region.
The method of remote sensing of the Earth monitoring was tested in the Shusky district in 2016 as a pilot project and put into production in all districts in 2018.
The remote method of land sensing showed that last year 46.7 thousand hectares of arable land were left without development in the districts of the region.
The department sent letters to the akims of the districts and the land inspectorate about taking measures to return land to the state with the formation of a register of unscrupulous land users and increasing the tax rate up to 10 times, compiling a list of land users who have not mastered 46.7 thousand hectares.
As a result of the measures taken, 94711 hectares of undeveloped agricultural land plots were returned to state ownership. Of these, 10030 ha of arable land, 84681 ha of pasture land.
