Zhambyl Central District Hospital provides Polyclinic and inpatient medical care to the population. There are 35 medical institutions in Zhambyl ao : 1 district Polyclinic, 1 Primary Health Care Center, 1 day hospital, 14 outpatient clinics, 3 paramedic and obstetric stations, 15 medical centers. In total , 920 employees work in these institutions, including 98 doctors and 467 middle-level medical workers.

At the same time, in 2022, 81 patients were diagnosed with cancer for the first time, the incidence rate was 95.1 ppm per 100 thousand people (in 2021 -95/ 113)
