Religion

In Zhambyl District, 32 mosques, 12 buildings outside the Houses of worship, premises for religious events (prayer houses) have received official state registration. There are 40 priests (teachers, Naib imams) in the district, of which 15 have higher education, 16 have secondary education, and 9 have taken special religious courses.
