Organizes the work and coordinates the activities of subordinate institutions in the education and improvement of the culture of the city of Taraz.
The City Department of Culture is located in the building of the city House of Culture named after Y.Dukenuly on genaral Rakhimov Street No. 55.
Today, the department has 9 cultural centers. These are 8 library branches of the centralized public library system and the city House of Culture named after I. Dukenuly.
