Kazakhstan's Archers train at the venue of the World Nomad Games
Athletes of the national team in traditional archery warmed up their preparation for the 5th World Nomad Games, which will be held in Astana this fall. Archers are honing their skills on the platform where the competition will be held at the kazanat racetrack.
According to the head coach of the national team in traditional archery Dias Akhmetov, today 35 countries have received applications for participation in the traditional archery competition, which will be held within the framework of the WCC.
"Currently, accreditation is being carried out. It is known that archers from Turkey, Malaysia, Kyrgyzstan, Hungary, Russia will perform well in the Flag competition. However, I am sure that our athletes will prove their strength," he says.
Members of the national team in traditional archery also told about their preparation for the Nomad Games.
"We know that we have a great responsibility, since this competition will be held on our field. And training on the site of the competition is a good opportunity for us. After all, we are studying this place in full, we are working on such important points as the climate, wind speed, location of the target," said Bakbergen Salimov, a member of the national archery team.
