Valuable manuscripts and documents on the history of Kazakhstan were found in the UK

One of the valuable manuscripts found in the city of Manchester is the book of the Holy Quran, which was first translated into Turkic around the X – XII centuries. The Turkic translation is very close to the language of Zhusup Balasaguni "Kutty Bilik". The book is of great importance for Turkic-Islamic culture.

Also one of the most important manuscripts is a medieval work written in Arabic with a bibliographic orientation. The book" Kitab makarnaat Al – Rafi'a FII usul uilm Al-Tabi'a " (book of higher articles on the basics of Natural Science) contains information about the biography and manuscripts of Abu Nasir Al-Farabi. European researcher Karl Brockelman noted in his work that the manuscript belongs to Al-Farabi.

Kazakh experts were interested in the work of the XI-century Persian historian Abu said Abd-al-khayi-Gardizi "Zayn Al-Akhbar" from the Bodlian library of Oxford. The manuscript was written between 1049 and 1053. The work covers the history of Persian (pre-Islamic) Kings, Muhammad and caliphs up to 1032, as well as Khorasan up to 1041. There are chapters on science, religion, holidays between India, Turkic tribes of Asia, Russians, Greeks. Fragments of the mentioned manuscript were published by V. V. Barthold used it in the works" Turkestan in the era of the Mongol invasion "and" report on the trip to Central Asia in 1893-1894".

Employees of the National Center and foreign scientists plan to conduct joint research on manuscripts and other works.
