An important political event is being prepared with special care and scrupulousness. 1 district and 54 precinct commissions were involved in the referendum.
There were three main issues on the agenda:
- The main points of the organization and conduct of the republican referendum.
- On the work of the precinct commission of the referendum before the referendum and on the organization of voting on the day of the referendum.
- About working with public organizations, media representatives and foreign and international observers.
The seminar was chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Zhambyl Regional Referendum Commission S.Madieva and Chairman of the Kordai district Referendum Commission A.Syrlybaev.
On the first question, S.Madieva spoke, who told the audience about the main points of the work of polling stations, about what conditions should be created for voters. She focused on the norms of electoral legislation and the conduct of the referendum. "There are situations when members of election commissions get confused in small things and can make mistakes. Therefore, it is important to carry out everything according to the norms of the legislation, then there will be no complaints against you," she said. On the second issue, the secretary of the Kordai District Referendum Commission, G. Abisheva, made a report. She, in turn, explained the work of the referendum commissions before the elections. In particular, the compilation of the list of voters, exclusion from the list of deceased and departed citizens, as well as issues of protection of personal information of voters. During the discussion of this part of the seminar, many of those present had questions. Specific answers were given to all of S. Madieva's questions.
A.Syrlybayev spoke on the third issue of the agenda, who spoke about the nuances of the interaction of election commissions with observers. All procedures are strictly regulated. Observers have no right to interfere in the work of the referendum commission, in turn, election commissions also have no right to interfere with the work of observers.
