As part of the plan of the Central Election Commission to train participants of the republican referendum scheduled for June 5, 2022, the Central Commission of the Referendum held an online training seminar for representatives of non-governmental public associations involved in ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities.
The event was attended by members of the regional coordinating council in the field of social protection of the disabled, an adviser to the akim of the region, heads of departments for the coordination of employment and social programs, internal policy, representatives of non-governmental public associations involved in ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities.
During the event, explanations were given about the republican referendum scheduled for June 5, 2022, on ensuring the electoral rights of citizens with disabilities during the preparation and conduct of the republican referendum, creating conditions for unhindered access to the referendum sites and its voting. Proposals of citizens of this group were discussed.
At the end of the seminar, representatives of the Central Commission of the Referendum gave exhaustive answers to the questions of the seminar participants.
