In accordance with the approved calendar plan for the preparation and conduct of the republican referendum, the Zhambyl Regional Referendum Commission held a meeting with representatives of non-governmental public associations involved in ensuring the rights of citizens with disabilities. The event was attended by members of the referendum commission, heads of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, representatives of non-governmental public associations.
During the meeting, explanations were given on the issues of the republican referendum scheduled for June 5, 2022, the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan", preparation and holding of the republican referendum, ensuring the electoral rights of citizens with disabilities, creating conditions for unhindered access to the referendum sites and its voting. Proposals of citizens of this group were discussed.
