On the appointment of early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In accordance with paragraph 3-1 of Article 41 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I DECREE:

1. To appoint early elections of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for November 20, 2022.
2. The Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall ensure the organization and conduct of early presidential elections.
3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the necessary measures for organizational, logistical and financial support of the extraordinary presidential elections.
4. The akims of Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and the regions should ensure timely compilation and reliability of lists of citizens who have the right to vote, provide all possible assistance to the Central, territorial and precinct election commissions in resolving issues of organizing and holding early presidential elections.
5. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its first official publication.
