Currently, there are 109 sports facilities in the region. Of these, 71 are located in rural areas.
There are 30 coaches working in the children's and youth sports school of the Zaisan region with 758 students.
And in the regional center for the development of mass sports, 752 students are trained in 11 sports.
The share of people involved in physical culture and sports in the third quarter of 2019 was 32.3%, that is, 11,914 people.
Since the beginning of the year, athletes from the region have participated in 60 regional and republican competitions.

By the end of the year, it is planned to hold more than 20 sports events in accordance with the approved annual plan.
Our main task in the development of mass sports in the region is to create a healthy national image by carrying out information work to promote a healthy lifestyle, access to sports facilities, as well as ensuring intensive work of sports organizations and sports clubs, and the development of regional sports infrastructure through new sports facilities.
