In the region, 322.6 million tenge of subsidies were paid to 238 farms for the development of livestock breeding in 2019.

The functions of a milk receiver in the region are performed by the dairy plant Zaysan Sut LLP. It produces packaged milk, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese, kefir, yoghurts and ice cream. The demand for dairy products of kindergartens, schools, mini-centers, hospitals and Tarbagatai Munai LLP is fully satisfied. And also, the manufactured products are sold through the trade networks of the district and at fairs "weekend". Milk comes from 1 urban and 7 rural districts of the region.

This year, a task was given to harvest 150 thousand tons of hay, 3 thousand tons of straw, 1 thousand tons of silage. As of October 1, 2019, the task was fully completed.

In 2020, it is planned to make changes to the structure of sown areas. Explanatory work is being carried out to agricultural producers of the region on the efficiency of export-oriented soy and corn crops, which in the future can become a source of large income. Work has begun in this direction. Doskhan Tour LLP plans to sow maize on 500 hectares and the Zhongar farm planting soybeans on 600 hectares in the Kensai rural district.

In 2019, 90 units of agricultural and road construction equipment of various brands were registered in the Zaisan district. Of these, machines manufactured in 2019: 5 MTZ-82.1 Belarus tractors for a total of 41.5 million tenge, 7 road-building equipment of the LUYU brand, "XCMG", "Luotong" for 118.8 million tenge.

And also economic entities purchased agricultural machines for field work - universal loaders, rotary mowers, balers and trailers of various modifications.

The state paid subsidies to peasant farms and other economic entities that acquired agricultural machinery for reimbursement of expenses. Work on the payment of the subsidy will continue in 2020.

During the reporting year, 97 certificates were issued for the right to drive tractors and self-propelled machinery and road construction equipment manufactured on their basis.

Individuals and legal entities were provided with 198 state services for registration, re-registration of tractors and self-propelled mechanisms manufactured on their basis, and 85 state registration plates, 93 technical passports were issued.

In the district, in 2019, 1,025 units of agricultural and road-building equipment underwent an annual state technical inspection.

In order to stabilize prices for agricultural products, fairs are held every Saturday, where prices are 10-15% lower than on the market. In 2019, 50 fairs were held, where products for 250.3 million tenge were sold.
