Fire safety rules

Employees of the DES of the Ulan district remind residents of the district about compliance with fire safety measures during the heating season, namely:
before starting operation, furnaces and other heating devices must be checked and repaired;
the furnaces must have fire-fighting cuts from combustible structures established by the norms, as well as a pre-heating sheet with a size of at least 0.5 * 0.7 meters without burnouts and damage;
once every three months, as well as before the start of the heating season, it is necessary to clean chimneys and stoves from soot;
chimneys should be made of red brick, equipped with spark arresters;
in attics, all chimneys and walls in which house channels pass must be whitewashed.;
installation of metal furnaces that do not meet the requirements of fire safety standards and specifications is not allowed;
when installing temporary metal and other factory-made furnaces, in particular, in residential buildings, the instructions of the manufacturers of these types of products must be followed, as well as the requirements of design standards for heating systems.
During the operation of furnace heating, it is prohibited:
to leave unattended the heating furnaces, as well as to entrust supervision of the furnace to young children;
to place fuel, other burning substances and materials on the pre-packing sheet;
leave the oven doors open;
dry clothes and other items near the hearth;
pump the heating furnace.
