The club held a thematic saga on the theme "Yurt – the house of the steppe", for students of the 6th grade in the Gerasimov secondary school, as part of the celebration of Nauryz Meiramy.

This year we celebrate 30 years of Independence. During this period, our country has achieved great achievements. One of them is the revival of cultural heritage, in particular, the celebration of Nauryz. This topic is dedicated to, which was prepared and conducted by the librarian and the head of the club

The event was held against the backdrop of a yurt, its purpose is to study the historical past, foster respect for the customs, traditions and rituals of the Kazakh people, and foster a sense of patriotism.

The children were told about the rich history of the yurt, known since the time of the Saks, about its design, decoration and elements, that it is a monument of the material, national culture of the Kazakh people.

The yurt gives a clear idea of decorative and applied art, it is perfectly adapted to the conditions of nature and lifestyle. The yurt is associated with many interesting facts, traditions and rituals, it was revered as a shrine. This is an important educational moment: a reverent attitude to the father's home.

A quiz was held with the children, a game "Connect the Words" was played, and a book exhibition about the yurt was organized.
