Kazenov Zhaksyk Zhaparkhanovich

Kasenov Zhaksylyk Zhaparkhanovich was born in 1949 in the village of Karauzek, Ulan district. After graduating from the Otradnensky 8-year school, he continued his studies at the Belousovsky SPTU, Saratov Agricultural College, specializing in zooengineering, and then at the Semipalatinsk Veterinary Institute.

He began his career in his native state farm as a machine operator, a foreman of animal husbandry, as well as a foreman of a tractor-field brigade. Later he headed the veterinary brigade of the large state farm "Tavrichesky" at that time. He passed the school of managerial activity in the party and state bodies.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in order to solve the problems of the village, the villagers jointly decided to create a peasant farm and appoint Zh. Kasenov as the head of the farm. Today, the farm "Agro Bam" is the strongest farm in the Saratov rural district. Since the establishment of the farm, the area of acreage has increased several times, the park of agricultural machinery has been updated by 80 percent.

The farm introduced the use of moisture-resource-saving technology and became the first and only farm in the district that used a biological method of improving soil fertility by azobacter. He successfully develops unused lands of the district, planting various types of perennial grasses, thereby providing farm workers with hay for the entire winter period. Along with crop production, the farm is successfully engaged in animal husbandry. Today it breeds cattle, sheep and horses.

Zh. Kasenov pays great attention to the social responsibility of business. So, he preserved the House of Culture in the village of Otradnoye, made repairs there and maintained it for many years. In 2012, as part of the campaign "Tugan Zherge Tagzym", Zhaksylyk Zhaparkhanovich transferred the House of Culture to the municipal property of the district under a memorandum.

He is also in close contact with the East Kazakhstan Agricultural College, thereby solving the issue of employment of villagers.

By the decision of the XXXXVIII session of the Ulan district Maslikhat of the VI convocation No. 286 of 19.04.2019, the title "Honorary Citizen of the Ulan district" was awarded.
