Zhangozin Zhansap Genghisovich

Zhangozin Zhansap Genghisovich was born on 11.06.1950 in the village of Skalistoe (Izgutty Aittykov) of the Ulan district. In 1968 he graduated from the Secondary school "Kyzyl-Tu-3" in Talgar district of Almaty region. In the same year, as an active junior, he was invited to work in the editorial office of the Talgar district newspaper "Zvezda Alatau". In 1969, he was drafted into the Soviet Army. After being discharged from the reserve in 1971, he was hired again in the editorial office of the newspaper "Zvezda Alatau".

In 1972, for family reasons, he moved to the East Kazakhstan region, where, in the direction of the regional party committee, he was sent to work in the editorial office of the Markakol district newspaper "Mayak" - "Shamshyrak". In 1976, he was transferred to the editorial office of the Tavrichesky district newspaper "Ilyich's Way", where he worked as a correspondent, head of department, executive secretary, deputy editor until 1982.

In 1982, he was appointed editor of the Katon-Karagai district newspaper "Luch" – "Arai". In August 1985, he was transferred to the editor of the Ulan district newspaper "Flourishing" – "Orken".

In March 1992, he was appointed head of the organizational department of the Ulan district Administration, and in December 1993 – head of the district administration staff. In May 1995, he was again appointed director of the newly created Production Cooperative "Polygraphy" with the assignment of duties of the editor of the district newspaper "Ulan tany – "Ulan Dawns".

He was awarded jubilee medals "For excellent service. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V. I. Lenin", "10 years and 20 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Twice Hero of the Soviet Union Talgat Bigeldinov", Honorary badge "For special services to the Ulan district", has the title "KR Madeniyet kayratkeri", "KR Akparat salasyn uzdigi", Member Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan. Author of 11 books on the history of the Ulan district: "On the spurs of Koktau", 1998, "A century–long road", 2002, "The Edge of the raised virgin land", 2004, "Ulan champion", 2006, "Bonds of unity and brotherhood", 2008, "Ulan yesimi - Ulagat besigi" 2,3, 4, 5 volumes, "Altyn uyam", 2012, "Arm Wrestling of East Kazakhstan", 2014.

By the decision of the XXXIV session of the Ulan district Maslikhat of the IV convocation No. 282 dated 18.12.2011, the title "Honorary Citizen of the Ulan district" was awarded.
