Analysis of the work of the Department of Agriculture
In the possession of land users, there are 230.4 thousand hectares of agricultural land, including 140.5 thousand hectares of arable land, 17.8 thousand hectares of hay and 65.4 thousand hectares of pastureland. To date, there are 299 agricultural formations in the district, including 250 peasants (farm) farms and 49 legal entities.
Since April 17, the agricultural formations of the district started spring fieldwork.
According to the developed concept for the implementation of the Regional Program for the Development of the Agro-industrial complex, the planned structure of sown areas for the 2021 harvest in the Shemonaikha district should be -137.4 thousand hectares. To date, 120.0 thousand hectares have been sown, including:
- cereals and legumes crops – 74.5 thousand hectares (97% of the plan 76.9 thousand hectares),
- oilseeds-45.5 thousand hectares (94% of the planned 48.4 thousand hectares).
More than 8 thousand hectares of winter crops were sown for the 2021 harvest. Including winter rye 1500 hectares, winter wheat sown on an area of 6500 hectares and 65 hectares of winter rapeseed.
To fulfil the planned volume of agricultural crops, 15.7 thousand tons of grain and leguminous seeds and 205 tons of oilseeds are required.
Agricultural formations of the district for the harvest of 2021 filled 16 thousand tons of seeds of grain and grain-legumes of agricultural crops. According to the branch of the Shemonaikha regional laboratory "KazAgrEks", 16237 tons of seeds of grain crops and peas of the 2020 harvest were received for inspection (104 % of the required 15.4 thousand tons), of which 16237 tons were checked. According to the results of the inspection, the received seeds are recognized as conditioned and correspond to the 1-2-3 class of the sowing standard. Of these, 7249 tons (45%) are assigned to the 1st class, 7510 tonsы of grain (46%) to the 2nd class and 1478 tons (9%) to the 3rd class of the sowing standard.
In the district, the production and sale of seeds of crops are carried out by 1 certified seed producer of the farm "Kamyshinskoe" to produce seeds of I, II and III reproductions of barley and wheat.
Along with this, agricultural producers of the Shemonaikha district actively acquire new elite seeds of various grain crops, zoned varieties as a variety renewal. In 2021, 1250 tons of elite leguminous seeds were purchased by six agricultural companies for 162.3 million tenges.
To fulfil the planned volume of sunflower crops, more than 24.0 thousand units of sunflower seeds are needed, of which more than 90% of the agricultural enterprises of the district are sown with seeds of hybrids of foreign production (seed-growing companies in Switzerland, Turkey, Germany, and China) due to their high yield. About 10% of sunflower seeds use zoned varieties of domestic selection "Zarya”, "Gulbagys", "Skorospely", etc. for the 2021 harvest, about 24 thousand sown units of hybrid sunflower and corn seeds were purchased of 1 356.0 million tenges.
For the 2021 harvest of the Agricultural Production Association of the district, contracts were concluded with mineral fertilizer suppliers and domestic manufacturing plants for the supply of more than 17 thousand tons of various (subsidized by up to 50%) mineral fertilizers (While nitrogen fertilizers account for 49%, phosphorus fertilizers - 47%, potash fertilizers - 3% and 1% of other complex micro fertilizers. Shipped and delivered to agricultural enterprises (100%). In the amount of about 935.7 million tenges.
Also, agricultural organizations of the district conclude contracts for the purchase of various plant protection products (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides).
To carry out agro-technological measures of spring field work, agricultural formations of the district need about 600 tons of gasoline and more than 4,000 tons of diesel fuel, and 150 tons of engine oil. The Department of Agriculture of the East Kazakhstan region has delivered 3,185 tons of guaranteed (preferential) diesel fuel to the Shemonaikhinsky district for the sowing campaign, of which:
- 195 tons for March
- 1495 tons for April
- 1235 tons for May
- 260 for June.
Every year, the operators of the delivery of Diesel are “ShemAvtoDizel” LLP, “Jupiter-Shulgin” PT and “Metal-Impex” LLP.
On the territory of the Shemonaikha district, 3,058 units of agricultural machinery are operating, of which 1,985 units are involved in spring fieldwork, including 810 units of tractors of various modifications, 9 units of sowing complexes, 502 units of various equipment and more than 600 units of other mounted tillage equipment. Work is underway to write off the abandoned and unrepaired worn-out agricultural machinery. To date, acts have been identified and drawn up for 64 units of rejected equipment.
Actively agricultural enterprises of the district acquire new resource-energy-saving agricultural machinery.
