Socio-economic development of Samar district in January-August 2026

The Samar district of the East Kazakhstan region covers an area of 5.5 thousand square kilometers. The population of the district as of August 1, 2026 is 11,055 people, all residents of rural areas. There are 8 rural districts and 22 settlements in the district.

The volume of investments in fixed assets in January-August 2026 amounted to 10,212.1 million tenge. The index of physical volume of investments amounted to 149.8%. The volume of construction works

In January-August 2026, in all categories of farms, sales for slaughter of livestock and poultry in live weight amounted to 3 088.8 tons (103.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2025).

 

Milk production is 3,997.3 tons (106.0%).

 

Eggs – 4,018.2 thousand units (110.6%).

 

As of August 1, 2026, the number of cattle decreased by 97.4%, including cows 93.8%, sheep and goats 91.8%, horses decreased by 97.3%, birds decreased by 128.8%.

 

 

 

 

The number of registered small businesses amounted to 95 units, of which 82 are active.
