Employees of the emergency department of the Samar district offer residents to carry out the following preventive measures in residential buildings and apartments to prevent fires:

- carry out a professional inspection of electrical networks, if necessary, carry out major repairs, connections, terminations and branches of wires and cables in order to avoid fire-hazardous transient resistances should be carried out using crimping, welding, soldering or special clamps. Do not overload electrical networks with electrical appliances.

- conduct a professional inspection of the heating stove, namely: chimneys, chimneys and other elements of heating stoves and systems must be cleaned of soot immediately before the start, as well as during the heating season at least:

2) once every two months - for stoves and fireplaces of continuous operation.

Cookers and other continuous (long-term) combustion ovens should be cleaned at least once a month. Ash and slag containing hot and smoldering materials, after being removed from the fireboxes, must be removed to a specially designated place to prevent the possibility of a fire and spilled with water. The floor of combustible materials under the combustion door of heat-generating apparatuses operating on solid fuel must be protected by a pre-furnace metal sheet measuring at least 0.5 x 0.7 m without holes, placed with its long side along the stove. Combustible floors under frame stoves must be insulated with one row of bricks laid horizontally on clay mortar or asbestos cardboard with a thickness of at least 12 mm with roofing steel sheathing on top, while the distance from the bottom of the stove to the floor must be at least 100 mm.

When operating stove heating, it is prohibited:

When storing haylofts on the estates of residential buildings, they are carried out at a distance of at least 15 meters from buildings and outbuildings. If it is impossible to store hay at the specified distance, provided that the storage area is provided with an additional container of water of at least 500 liters, the distances are reduced to 5 meters.

In the residential sector it is not allowed:
