International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

On November 25, according to a UN decision adopted in 1999, the International Day for the elimination of violence against women is celebrated. On this day, on November 26, A round table dedicated to gender violence in different parts of the world was organized in the Bastau rural library as part of the campaign "International Day for the elimination of violence against women". In this regard, on November 25, 2024, the annual republican action "16-day Activism Against Violence" will be held. The purpose of the campaign is to inform a wide range of the population about the prevention and end of violence against women, the protection of motherhood and childhood, and the strengthening of the family role in society.
