Significant support for the development of entrepreneurship is provided through measures such as placing orders from the city-forming enterprise with local producers, providing microloans, grants for the establishment and development of new productions, as well as subsidizing interest rates on loans.
Within the framework of the “National Project for the Development of Entrepreneurship for 2021–2025,” 2 projects were subsidized in the city of Ridder as of December 4, 2025, with a total loan portfolio of 86.0 million tenge.
To support domestic trade entities, 2 projects were financed in the amount of 120.0 million tenge, of which 102.0 million tenge were provided under loan guarantee instruments. The purpose of these projects is to attract investment and replenish working capital.
The main reason for business entities refusing to obtain loans under this Program is the availability of alternative financial support programs offering lower interest rates.
In addition, the “Department of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the City of Ridder” provides ongoing consultations to local entrepreneurs on obtaining grants for social entrepreneurship entities, as well as on all 7 state support measures available in the tourism sector.
