The growth rate of the number of operating SMEs in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk
As of January 1, 2025, the total number of registered SMEs amounted to 42,338 units, of which 37086 were active SMEs, with a growth rate of 101.5% compared to the corresponding period last year.
A single comprehensive program
In order to financially support entrepreneurship under the "Unified Comprehensive Program" (formerly "DKB-2025"), 161 city projects were guaranteed in 2024 for a loan amount of KZT 7.1 billion, the amount of guarantees is KZT 3.2 billion,
the total number of subsidized projects is 329, of which in the direction of "Support for entrepreneurs/subjects of industrial and innovative activities" (2nd direction) 176 projects were subsidized for a total loan amount of 13.6 billion tenge, 152 projects for a total amount of 1.7 billion tenge were implemented under portfolio subsidies. In 2024, 1 project is being implemented in the direction of "Subsidizing within the framework of the mechanism" ("Economics of simple things") for a total amount of subsidies of 3 billion tenge
"Ak Niet"
As part of the implementation of the regional preferential lending program "Ak Niet" for 11 months of this year, 214 projects were financed for 2.3 million tenge (from repayable funds from previous years).
7 entrepreneurs received grant financing, totaling 31.9 million tenge.
"Unified map of industrialization"
According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Industrial Policy", the formation of industrial policy is based on an assessment of industrial development. Monitoring of the implementation of industrial policy is carried out through a Single Industrialization Map, which is a set of industrial and innovative projects implemented by subjects of industrial and innovative activity.
Currently, taking into account continuity, projects are being implemented in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk:
Within the framework of the Concept of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2025, the following projects are being implemented in the city:
- "Construction of a complex for the repair of trucks and special road construction equipment" - IP "Smakov". The project cost is 18 million tenge. Number of jobs: during the construction period – 5.
- "Multifunctional complex with the production of food (semi-finished products)" - Sunrise VEM LLP. The total cost of the project is 212.97 million tenge. The planned production capacity is 114,000 kg of products per year.
The complex is currently being designed. According to the investor, the project is planned to be postponed to 2026 due to a change of ownership. The issue of expanding this project, including investments and job creation, is being considered.;
- "Construction of a hydrometallurgical plant for the production of cathode gold" - VostokGeoMetall LLP. The project cost is 850 million tenge. The number of jobs during construction is 50 people, during operation 65 people. The year of commissioning is 2025.
- "Modernization of the foundry (production: side trolley frame, overhead trolley beams)" JSC VOSTOKMASHZAVOD. By Order of the Acting Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 178 dated 05/17/2024 "On some issues of the Unified Industrialization Map", the Vostokmashzavod JSC project is included in the Unified Industrialization Map.
This Order has been sent to JSC Industrial Development Fund and JSC BaiterekVentureFund for further financing.
- "Reconstruction and modernization of the existing chipboard manufacturing plant" Nash Dom Construction Company LLP - the issue of financing through the Industrial Development Fund is currently being considered.
Industrial zone "on Mashinostroiteley St." (26.6 ha).
Ongoing project:
- KFK Medservice PLUS LLP construction of a trade and production complex using the GDP system, the first class A pharmaceutical terminal in Ust-Kamenogorsk. The total cost of the project is 3 billion tenge. It is planned to create 100 jobs. Commissioning in the 1st quarter of 2025.
