On June 20 of this year, the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning of the East Kazakhstan region discussed the results of an internal analysis of corruption risks in the activities of the Department for the period from the 2nd quarter of 2021 to the 1st quarter of 2022.
The discussion was attended by the Management working group and head of VK INVEST COMPANY LLP, representative of the East Kazakhstan regional Branch of the Republican Association of Legal Entities "Union of Builders of Kazakhstan" Ruslan Shkibaev Khalymbekovich.
During the discussion, the identified corruption risks and measures to prevent them were considered.
Based on the results of the discussion, recommendations were made on measures to identify and minimize corruption risks, conditions and causes accompanying their occurrence.

On March 03, 2022, the chief specialist of the Anti-Corruption Service of the East Kazakhstan region, Gulnur Aitkurmanovna Bekbaeva, held a seminar on combating corruption, on amendments to the Law "On Combating Corruption" with the participation of the Department's employees.
During the seminar, the officials explained the main directions of Kazakhstan's anti-corruption policy, its continuous improvement based on the requests of society, taking into account national practice and advanced foreign experience.
At the same time, on February 02 of this year, in order to form a clean society, the Concept of the Anti-Corruption Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026 was approved by the decree of the President of the country. (hereinafter-the Concept).
In accordance with this Concept, a financial investigation has been developed on the principle of "follow the money", which means "follow the money" in translation.
The anti-corruption policy affects all areas of Kazakhstan's development and citizens' activities. This Concept reflects the changes that have occurred in recent years in the field of anti-corruption, specifies weaknesses.
