Positive news in the cultural sector of the region

Renovations have begun at the district House of Culture named after K. Turar. We updated the material and technical base and purchased new equipment, Altainews.kz correspondent reports.

In addition, the contractor has already begun repairing the stage. Funds have been allocated for the purchase of a new Gazelle car for the convenience of artists. Stage costumes have been purchased.

"For 2024, 30 million tenge were allocated for the renovation of the stage of the regional House of Culture "Shabyt", of which 22.5 million were won by contractors from the city of Almaty. Additionally, an amount was allocated for the purchase of stage costumes 6.5 million tenge. Competitive procedures are now being carried out, after their completion; costumes will be purchased for soloists and ensembles. Regarding the Gazelle car, competitive procedures were completed on May 6, it will be delivered to the region by the end of this month,” commented the deputy akim. Kurchum district Meirzhan Albekov.

The akimat also reported that funds have been provided for the construction of a rural club in the village of Kuigan. A competition is currently being held to determine the contractor who will build the new cultural institution.

Let us note that cultural issues in the region are always under control. Today there is one district House of Culture and 27 rural clubs with 109 staff.
