How can students take academic leave in Kazakhstan?

Students of universities, vocational schools and colleges, under certain circumstances, can take academic leave for a period of 6 months to 3 years. Most often, such leave is taken at the birth of a child, long-term treatment or conscription. Typically, such a service is issued at the educational institution where the student is enrolled. But few people know that it is possible to issue an "academic" through the Public Service Center. When applying to the PSC, you must have an identity card, an application and a document confirming the reason why the student is taking a vacation. This may be the conclusion of a medical commission, a draft summons for military service, or a child's birth certificate. The service is free and is provided within 2 business days.
