State Corporation Trains Rural Residents in Digital Literacy

Since the beginning of 2026, the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” has provided training for residents of rural settlements on how to access government services and use digital services. Over the course of one and a half months, more than 18,000 citizens from various regions of the country have completed the training.

As part of the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the initiative aims to improve the population’s digital literacy, expand access to government services, and develop the skills needed to obtain such services independently online. The highest number of participants was recorded in the Kostanay, North Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, and Almaty regions.

The training sessions were conducted by specialists from the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” in rural districts and settlements across various regions of the country.

In addition, since the beginning of this year, around 5,000 citizens have completed training at regional centers with the participation of the Tanym corporate training center. During the sessions, participants learned how to access government services online, as well as about the key tools and capabilities of the country’s digital infrastructure.

It should be noted that training classes are available in every regional center of the country for citizens who wish to learn, free of charge, how to use electronic government services and modern online services. Classes are held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
