Agriculture is the main industry of the region, in the framework of the Program for the development of the agro-industrial complex in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2021 in the region, a number of work was carried out to create conditions for increasing the competitiveness of agribusiness entities and to develop the agricultural industry.
For 11 months of 2019, agricultural products worth 30 billion 959 million tenge were produced, which is 8.0% more compared to the same period last year.
The volume of meat production increased by 2.4%, milk - by 1.1%.
Cattle - 73.7 thousand heads, horses - 27.6 thousand heads, sheep and goats - 156.9 thousand heads, birds - 50.1 thousand heads.
Under the program Іsker and Agribusiness in 2019, through the Agrocredit Corporation JSC, peasant farms received a loan in the amount of 224.05 million tenge and acquired 470 heads of cattle (164.1 million tenge) and 180 horses (59.95 million tenge).
Under the program "Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship" through the Fund for Financial Support of Agriculture JSC in 2019, 96 head of cattle (27.1 million tenge), 45 head of horses (18 , 0 million tenge) and 83 heads of small cattle (2.9 million tenge).
In 2019, a milk processing workshop was opened (SPK-Shygys ZhK, Kalgutinsky s / o), two dairy farms for 50 and 100 animals (Tirshіlіk farm, SEC Shygys ZhK), two milk reception points were opened on the basis of agricultural cooperatives in Kurchumsky, Saryolensky (SEC "Algabas", SEC "Koylybay-2017") rural districts.
In 2019, on the basis of the Ulan peasant farm, at its own expense, a feedlot for 1000 cattle was put into operation. The construction of a feedlot for 1000 heads of cattle in the Aryn farm was completed, and paperwork is currently underway.
In 2019, the sown area amounted to 28,362 hectares, of which 4,355 hectares of grain crops, 4,044 hectares of oilseeds, 1,355 hectares of potatoes, 1,006 hectares of melons, 581 hectares of vegetables, in addition, the sown area of fodder crops amounted to 17021 hectares.
In 2019, harvesting was completed in a timely manner, 6350.8 tons of grain, 32099 tons of potatoes, 20570 tons of vegetables, 43784 tons of melons and 3965 tons of oil crops were harvested.
In 2019, 66 units of agricultural machinery were purchased in the amount of 251 million 955 thousand tenge, including 16 units of equipment for 73 million 777 thousand tenge for leasing, 50 units of equipment for 178 million 178 thousand tenge, the producers of the region purchased at their own expense. In addition, subsidies were paid for 68 projects in the amount of 243 million 251 thousand tenge.
Along with this, the commodity producers of our region paid investment subsidies for 72 projects of 63 million 278 thousand 945 tenge for the year.
For the economic achievement of the services provided for goods and works for the subjects of the agro-industrial complex of the region, livestock producers for 2019 were paid 363,804 million tenge of subsidies.
