Equipment of Kazakhstani and foreign production is leased
KazAgroFinance JSC launches a new leasing program for agricultural machinery without an initial payment for the purchase of special equipment, cars for the transportation of agricultural products. This is reported by the Kapital Business Information Center.kz with reference to the company's press service.
Under the terms of the lease, the advance payment will be 0%, the interest rate will be 22.75% (6% including subsidies), the lease term is up to 10 years, the financing limit is up to 370 million tenge. Equipment of Kazakhstani and foreign production is leased.
The program is aimed at ensuring the food security of Kazakhstan and maintaining the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex.
Financing of agricultural machinery in 2023 amounted to 178 billion tenge for the purchase of 7,710 units of equipment on lease, including 54% of equipment produced in Kazakhstan. Of these, within the framework of preferential financing programs at a rate of 6% per annum, 2,838 units of equipment worth 46 billion tenge were leased during 2023.
In 2024, 36.8 billion tenge is planned to be allocated for the implementation of preferential financial leasing programs at an interest rate of 6% per annum.
At the beginning of February this year, applications for the purchase of 1,310 units of agricultural machinery worth 14.8 billion tenge have already been received under preferential programs. As of today, financial leasing agreements have been concluded for the purchase of 544 units of equipment in the amount of 6.8 billion tenge.
