Tourism in the Glubokoe district
The main developing and visited tourist spots of the Glubokoe district are the facilities located in Gorno-Ulbinka village: the “Altaiskiye Alpy” ski resort (the average annual number of visitors is over 23 thousand people), the “ Izumrudnyi” sanatorium (over 12 thousand visitors), the “Konnyi Dvor” recreation center at 22 km (more than 7 thousand visitors), and the recreation center "Nurtau" in the village of Bobrovka (over 15 thousand visitors). One of their main development factors is their proximity to the regional center (20–25 km.) and the picturesque attractiveness of natural landscapes. In the ski resort "Nurtau", in winter, 2 ski slopes equipped with two ski lifts, a separate trail for the stubs, and equipment rental are available for tourists.
In the “Altaiskiye Alpy” ski resort there are two ski lifts, 2 chair lifts, 4 cable cars operating (including 2 cable cars for athletes), ski equipment rental. For newcomers who want to learn how to ride, two new tracks 800 and 900 meters long and a special slope for elementary training, 600 meters long, are built. Together with the leadership of the recreation center "Altaiskiye Alpy" and the akimat of the Glubokoe district in the recreation area of the village of Gorno-Ulbinka, snowboarding and skiing competitions are held. The ski season in the “Altaiskiye Alpy” lasts an average of 4-5 months. During this time, various competitions are held, both for athletes and for lovers of skiing and snowboarding.
The sanatorium "Izumrudnyi" provides a range of wellness baths, therapeutic massages and physiotherapy. Since 2018, a trout farm has been operating in the sanatorium. Here you can catch trout, and it will be cooked here.
The Recreation Center “Konnyi Dvor at 22 km” is a great place for outdoor activities and communication with nature in a picturesque corner of the Novo-Ulbinka village. 35 km from the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, 8 km from the village of Bobrovka there is a ski resort "Nurtau" (formerly called "Prince's Mountains"), which began its work in 1999. Today, thanks to the developed infrastructure and a wide range of services for guests of any age, “Nurtau” is one of the popular tourist destinations in East Kazakhstan. The official symbol of “Nurtau” is the beaver. The resort operates 24/365.
In winter, it offers vacationers ski slopes equipped with ski lifts, a separate trail for stewards, equipment rental, and instructor services. In summer - hiking and cycling, rental of sports equipment for outdoor activities.

A paintball club operates in the village of Praporshchikovo, with a winter playground designed for 30 seats, a summer one for 50 seats, and in the village of Cheremshanka since 2017 - recreation center of independent enterpreneur E.N.Vologodskaya. There is a bathhouse, a house for 4 people, a gazebo and a cottage for 12 people.
