According to paragraph 10 of Article 139 of the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, civil servants maintained at the expense of the state budget are granted basic paid annual labor leave of at least thirty calendar days with the payment of a recovery allowance in the amount of the official salary.
The allowance for rehabilitation of civil servants is paid once in a calendar year when providing paid annual labor leave.
According to the commentary to the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the case of granting labor leave in parts, the benefit for recovery is paid with the first part of the leave. In case of non-provision of labor leave in the current year, the benefit for recovery is not transferred to the next year.
