Republican CASE CONFERENCE “Using alternative methods and approaches in special education to support children with special educational needs”
On February 7, 2025, Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, as part of a joint project with S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University “Competence Center for Psychological and Pedagogical Development and Methodological-Technological Support for Children with Special Educational Needs” held the Republican Case Conference on “Current Technologies in educating and upbringing of children with special educational needs of preschool age as part of inclusive education”. The Conference took place at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University. It was held for teachers of preschool educational organizations, both online and offline.
386 teachers from preschool educational organizations of East Kazakhstan region, Abai region and Astana city joined the Conference online, and 150 teachers of preschool educational organizations of Ust-Kamenogorsk city participated offline.
Throughout the Case Conference, the participants shared their theoretical and practical case studies on working with children with special educational needs (SEN). Presentations were delivered by Methodological Department of Special, Inclusive Education and Boarding Schools of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region; Regional Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region; Regional Psychological, Medical and Pedagogical Consultation of Education Administration of Abai region; S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University; educators from Arai Kindergarten-Nursery No. 60 of Astana city; Rehabilitation Center for Children with Special Educational Needs of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region; Balapan, Wonderland, Altyn Dan of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.
The Conference concluded with a tour of the Dana Bala Laboratory at S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University, where feedback was provided, the participants received answers to their questions and thanked the organizers, noting the importance of the event.
