Results of Regional Table Tennis Tournament of SPECIAL OLYMPICS Movement

On February 6, 2025, Regional Table Tennis Tournament of SPECIAL OLYMPICS Movement took place in Ust-Kamenogorsk city at East Kazakhstan Specialized Children and Youth Olympic Reserve School in Table Tennis.

The objectives of the Tournament are: to promote the Special Olympics Movement; to involve new athletes with intellectual disabilities in sports, and foster their socialization and integration into society.

Teams from Medical and Social Institutions (MSI) and special schools participated in the Tournament.

The age categories of participants: 12-15 years, 16-21 years.

The Tournament was held in accordance with the Sports Rules of Special Olympics Inc.

According to the results of the Tournament, the following teams won in the Tournament:

12-15 years:

I place – the team of the Center for Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district;

II place – the team of Special Boarding School No. 8, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

III place – the team of Special Boarding School No. 7, Ridder town.

16-21 years old:

I place – the team of Special Boarding School No. 8, Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

II place – the team of the Center for Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs, Altai district;

III place – the team of Youth Centre, Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The teams that took the first, second, and third places received cups and diplomas, and the players were awarded medals of the corresponding degrees.
