Round table discussion on “Opportunities and prospects for interdepartmental cooperation”

On October 15, 2024, Regional Center for Psychological Support and Assistance of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region hosted a round table on “Opportunities and prospects for interdepartmental cooperation”. The goal was to explore potential directions and formats for interdepartmental interactions regarding the prevention of suicide, violence, bullying, religious extremism and other negative behaviors among minors. The event was attended by the head of Ulba City Territorial Center for Social Services of Akimat of Ust-Kamenogorsk city S. M. Aubakirova, the Head of Public Awareness Efforts Department of the Center for Study of Religious Problems of East Kazakhstan region of Religious Affairs Administration of East Kazakhstan region A.E. Turganbayev, the head of Dispensary Department of Psychiatric Service of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of East Kazakhstan Regional Psychiatric Health Center of East Kazakhstan region of Healthcare Administration of East Kazakhstan region A.K. Turarova.

During the round table, Acting Director of the Regional Center for Psychological Support L.P. Kuzemko introduced the participants to the activities of the Center and highlighted the relevance of interdepartmental interactions with interested organizations for effective preventive work.

The participants of the round table expressed appreciation for the valuable information shared, noting its relevance for further interdepartmental interactions, and discussed the organizations’ activities.

The meeting resulted in the signing of memorandums on interdepartmental cooperation.
