Methodological day “Uzdikten uiren”

On January 4, 2024, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, in accordance with the winter holiday school plan, held a Methodological day on the topic “Uzdikten uiren” with teachers of history of secondary schools. The event took place at S. Lastayev Secondary School of Education Department of Katon-Karagai district of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

The event shared the experience of R. S. Cheketayeva, the winner of Best Teacher Award-2022, a teacher of history, a teacher-master, Candidate of Historical Science, in order to popularize the efficient methods used in preparing for the lesson, developing learners’ functional literacy, enhancing the interaction with schoolchildren and providing methodological support.

During the Methodological day, R. S. Cheketayeva talked about effective ways to prepare schoolchildren for a scientific project, organize research work in a history lesson, and conducted a master class on the specifics of self-awareness of a history lesson. She elaborated on particularly effective methods used in self-development lessons, communication with learners, etc. through practical group work with participants.  

The methodologist of Methodological Department, Bakhyt K. Abraimova, familiarized the participants with the process of professional preparation for the competition Best History Teacher.

Upon feedback, the teachers of the district expressed gratitude for the detailed information provided. They noted the fruitful work on the Methodological day with useful methods and techniques which increase the relevance and effectiveness of the pedagogical activity, applied in professional activities.
