Results of regional round of Republican Competition “Best School Mediator”

The regional round of the Republican Competition “Best School Mediator” was held remotely on October 13, 2022.

The goal of the Competition is to draw the attention of learners and teachers to the educational opportunities of restorative mediation programs in resolving disputes and conflicts arising in the educational environment; to promote knowledge in law, psychology, communication technologies.

The Competition was attended by learners of grades 8-11 - the winners of the intra-school and district / city qualifying rounds of Ust-Kamenogorsk city, Altai, Glubokoe, Zaisan, Kurchum, Samar, Ulan, Shemonaikha districts.

Participants of the Competition performed tasks in the following areas:

- Drawing competition on the topic “Conflict and its solution”;

- Competition of logos of School Mediation Services;

- Competition of video clips on the topic “Conflict and its solution in School Mediation Service”;

- Essay competition “Mediator - Master of Negotiations”.

According to the results of the Competition, the winners are:

I place - Sanzhar Rajanuly, an 11th grader of Kh. Mustafina School-Lyceum, Zaisan district;

II place - Kazken Anelya, an 8th grader of Asubulak Secondary School, Ulan district;

III place - Stanislav Milenkih, an 11th grader of Secondary School No. 7 of Altai town, Altai district;

III place - Esbolkyzy Eldana, a 9th grader of Yu.A. Gagarin Kurchum Secondary School No. 1, Kurchum district.

The work of Sanzhar Rajanuly will be presented at the Republican round of the Competition, which will be held on October 25, 2022.
