ERKEBULAN IMANBAYEV CHOSEN TO BE A STUDENT OF THE NEW YORK UNIVERSITY IN ABU-DABI

Erkebulan Imanbayev is one of the best students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey city. He is a prizewinner and winner of the Republican, network subject Olympiads and after graduation will become a student at New York University in Abu Dhabi.

Erkebulan achieved such heights thanks to his knowledge. He handed in the necessary documents online and recently, at the invitation of this university, he visited Abu Dhabi for four days.

- Among the documents sent to the Common Application portal were indicators of my performance, my achievements and essays. During my trip to Abu Dhabi, qualified professors watched students from all over the world, including me. They drew attention to how we behave in the society, and how we interact with students from other countries. We also attended classes given by the teachers of this educational institution. Soon after, I received an answer that I could become a student at New York University in Abu Dhabi. “I want to take this opportunity and get my higher education here,” our student says.

Erkebulan is fluent in English. He said that the forces had spent on learning English from the second grade was worth it. Last November, he passed the IELTS exam and scored 8.5 points out of 9.0. Over the past three years he has won only prizes participating at school at various network and republican Olympiads in the English language. And now he receives an invitation from a higher educational institution, which ranks the 28th place in the world.

The New York University campus opened in Abu Dhabi in 2010. Branches of this university are in different parts of the world. Another feature of studying at this university is that a student can choose one of them for four years of study. Erkebulan plans to do chemical engineering in the future and contribute to science.
