Regional online workshop “A gifted child as a pledge of educated nation

Giftedness is a special success in a certain field of activity, a high degree of personality development, that creates conditions for progress.

On January 5, 2022, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, within the framework of the action plan during the winter holidays, held a regional online workshop “A gifted child as a pledge of educated nation. More than 100 people took part in the online workshop: Chairmen of Associations of Teachers of Biology, Chemistry, Geography, teachers of Biology, Chemistry and Geography of educational institutions of the region.

The speakers of the workshop who shared their experience were:

Erbol Z. Nurmaganbetov, a teacher-researcher, a teacher of Biology of East Kazakhstan Regional Specialized Lyceum BILIM INNOVATION for Gifted Children of Ust-Kamenogorsk city of EKR on “Khalykaralyk Biologiya of olympiadasyna okushy daiyndaudyn manyzy men adіsterі”;

Aidos Zh. Sailaubekov, a teacher-researcher, a teacher of Chemistry of Abai Specialized Boarding School-Gymnasium of Education Department of Abai district of EKR on “Teaching Chemistry through Phenomenon-based learning (PhenoBL) - shaping skills of the XXI century.”

The online workshop was followed by feedback and exchange of views with the teachers. The speeches of the speakers were highly appreciated.
