Spring online breaks “Spring droplets”.

On 20-31 March 2021, during the holidays, online spring breaks were organized on Instagram “shko_online_kanikuly”.

Remote thematic hobby groups were organized in accordance with the Recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Kazakhstan balalary - koktem shakyrady!” – “Children of Kazakhstan - spring droplets!”

The online spring breaks were attended by over 10,000 children. The goal of the vacation program was to develop and improve the system to organize useful and active activities of school students.

The vacation program included:

- daily interactive hobby classes and master classes with teachers of additional education: the art of knitting, origami, patchwork “Oyu-Ornek”, culinary master class “Nauryz-kozhe”, embroidery with patterns “muiyiz, orkesh, arkarmuiyz”, “Eco-souvenir project”, quilling;

- showing videos about the national holidays “Ulystyn uly kuni”, “Zhoralgy kuni”, “Ancestors’ precepts”, “Altyn saka” in order to study and modernize ancient customs and traditions, educational.

Historical, animated video clips, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev were shown to promote the creativity of the poet's life history;

- intellectual and creative contests, entertaining quizzes, contests - exhibitions of creative works of children: “Algyrlar alany”, “Kim bilgir?”, “Zerde-2021”, photo contest “My Museum of Sports Glory”, art-challenge “Kindness saves the world”, video competition “One day on vacation”, festival of national cuisine “Ak dastarkhan”, folk dance competition “Kamazhai”, action “Ayauly Alakan”;

- virtual excursions to the picturesque places of the world, virtual tours to museums, exhibitions and other showplaces of the region and the Republic: “Sacred places of East – Kazakhstan”, “Travel to the national museum”;

- reading books, watching films in a virtual club, visiting theaters and concerts online: “Artistic Word”, “Menin atym Kozha”, “Ulystyn uly kuni – Nauryz”, also sports master classes “Sport – MIX”.

All events included in the online spring break program “Kazakhstan balalary - koktem shakyrady!" – “Children of Kazakhstan - spring droplets!” were intended to inspire school students in their the creative and intellectual works, cultivating spiritual, moral and national education of children, strengthening family values, organizing charitable events for children and families.
