PRESS RELEASE of the online workshop “Creating and developing mathematical and functional literacy among school students”

According to the annual action plan of the Regional Pedagogical Association of Teachers of Mathematics, Shygys Regional Center of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region holds an online workshop on “Creating and developing mathematical and functional literacy among school students” for teachers of Mathematics of secondary schools of the region to generalize and disseminate the pedagogical experience of Irina V. Ilgova, a teacher of Mathematics, a research teacher of M. Shayakhmetov Secondary School No. 23 of Education Department of Ust-Kamenogorsk city.

The goal of the workshop is to exchange experience on forms and methods to develop mathematical and functional literacy of school students through the tasks of PISA and TIMSS.

The online workshop is taking place on March 11, 2021 at 2.00 p.m. on ZOOM.
