Updating preschool education: experience and prospects

The IV Gathering of Preschool Educators of East Kazakhstan region took place on October 10, 2025, according to the annual action plan of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region.

The event aimed to recognize the efforts of kindergarten directors and teachers; promote professional cooperation and friendly relations; expand professional network and raise the prestige of early childhood education.   

During workshops, held in Ertostik, Enlik, Altai Shyn kindergartens, teachers of preschool education of Zaisan district showed their skills and shared their best practices.

A roundtable discussion was held at the new Sauyr Secondary School of Zaisan town, where methodologists from district/city education departments of the region responsible for preschool education met to address current issues of the preschool education system of the region.

         The program of the event featured a musical performance titled “Bakytty balalyk shak”, where children of Zaisan district welcomed the participants of the event.                                              

The event organizer, A.K. Kyrykbayeva, a methodologist of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region, delivered a welcoming speech and wished the participants success.

Moreover, the event honored the veterans of the preschool education sector.  

Then, the teams from districts and cities of the region demonstrated their introductions and made presentations on the topic “Ways to effectively use innovative methods in career guidance of preschool children.” 

During the closing ceremony of the Gathering, an independent commission announced the results and awarded best teams:

Grand Prix - Ust-Kamenogorsk city;

I place - Ulken-Naryn, Zaisan and Altai districts;

II place - Katon-Karagai, Ulan districts;

III place - Ridder town, Kurchum and Tarbagatai districts;

Nomination “Courageous team” - Markakol district;

Nomination “Creative team” - Glubokoe district;

Nomination “Coordinated team” - Samar district.

Certificates of Appreciation and Diplomas were awarded to active teams and outstanding participants of the event. 

A.K. Kyrykbayeva, a methodologist of Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region concluded the event by summarizing outcomes and wished participants further success in their work. During the feedback session, the participants of the Gathering expressed their gratitude to the organizers and speakers, highlighting the methodological literacy and substantial content of the event.

Over 200 teachers of preschool organizations of the region participated in the event.
