An important initiative aimed at cultivating the values of kindness, respect, mutual understanding and love for the native nature among the younger generation kicked off at Oralkhan Bokei Belkaragai Secondary School as part of the Host Family Project.

The first phase involved an outdoor team-building training session called “Kauyshu shenberi” (“A circle of meetings”), held in an atmosphere of warmth, friendship and mutual trust. Both schoolchildren and teachers took part in sports games and team challenges, which helped not only strengthen the collective spirit, but also create the basis for further cooperation within the project.

The program placed a special emphasis on environmental and local history education. As part of a group session featuring the educational video A Journey through the Landmarks of Katon-Karagai, the school students explored the breathtaking landscapes of the region - the majestic Muztau Mountain, the healing Rakhmanov springs and the historical and cultural heritage of the Berel mounds. The children also discovered interesting facts about the Altai fauna.

At the end of the session, the schoolchildren prepared and presented creative posters showcasing their views on environmental protection and the importance of caring for the natural environment. These works became a vivid evidence of their conscious and growing awareness and love for their native land.
