On progress achieved in implementing the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The goal of the program is to construct a harmoniously developed identity, capable of overcoming difficulties, committed to professional and personal development in various areas, taking care of others, achieving set goals and high results. The operator of the program is the Elbasy Academy Corporate Fund.

The rules for awarding school students and young people from 14 to 29 years of age the Elbasy Medal are approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 24, 2020 No. 249.

Program participants are school students and young people from 14 to 29 years of age.

The program includes 7 areas of activities - Sports and Physical Development, Talents and Skills, Reading Books, National Heritage, Volunteering, Hiking, Labor Practice.

There are three levels of the Program: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level lasts from 6 to 18 months. Each level has its own age requirements and scope of activity.

The work of the participants is coordinated by mentors of the Bilim-Innovation Public Fund.

The number of authorized participants from East Kazakhstan region amounted to 616 schoolchildren and young people from 14 to 22 years of age.

Participants develop their talents and skills, read books expanding their horizons, enhance their knowledge of national culture, develop emotional intelligence and softskills, consolidate social ties and a feeling of patriotism.

The guys are very enthusiastic about completing tasks and sharing their results on social networks.

Myn Bala National Intellectual Olympiad

In February 2020, school students of rural schools of the region - 15729 ones of grades 5-6 participated in the first round of the Olympiad. Selection for participation has been provided with the information on school progress based on the results of the summative assessment for the section (SAS), the summative assessment for the term (SAT) and the results for the I and II terms of the 2019-2020 school year.

According to the results of the first round of the Olympiad, 300 school children (150 students - 5th grade, 150 students - 6th grade) advanced to the second round of the Olympiad.

On August 21, 2020, the Second Round of the Olympiad was held on the basis of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools of Ust-Kamenogorsk and Semey cities, as well as in educational institutions of Tarbagatai and Urjar districts.

The Olympiad was held in compliance with the mask regime and enhanced sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

According to the results of the Olympiad, 72 participants from East Kazakhstan region became winners and entered the list of the 1000 best.

8 school students-winners of the sixth grade entered republican and regional specialized schools for gifted children in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2018 No. 564 “On adoption of the Standard rules for admission to the studies in educational institutions realizing general education curricula of primary, basic secondary and general secondary education” and according to the approved quota of 10% of total number of accepted students in grades 7 in specialized educational institutions for the winners of the National Intellectual Olympiad “Myn Bala”.
