The office of the akim of the Sredigirny rural district identifies low-income people, makes proposals to higher authorities to ensure employment, provide targeted social assistance, organizes services for lonely elderly and disabled citizens at home, and coordinates the provision of charitable assistance to them; promotes the employment of persons released from institutions of the penal system who are registered with the probation service, and also provides them with social, legal and other assistance in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan; organizes assistance to persons with disabilities; organizes community service, youth practice and social work places.
