On March 2, 2022, a special monitoring group of the Project Office "Altai-Adaldyk Alany" visited several pharmacies located on the central streets of the city of Altai.         

In all pharmacies of the city of Altai, medicines, personal protective equipment, vitamins, antibiotics and antiviral agents are available in sufficient quantities. Prices for medicines do not exceed the permissible rate of prices.

Marginal prices for medicines are set twice a year until July 10 and until January 10. The marginal price is the price at which a drug cannot be sold at inflated prices. That is, within six months, neither the tenge exchange rate nor the season affects the prices of any medicines. Maximum prices for medicines can be found in the «DariKZ» mobile application.

When contacting a pharmacy, the pharmacist is obliged to provide complete information about the drugs and their analogues - from the cheapest to the most expensive medicine.          As you know, last year there was a shortage of medicines in the region. In order to prevent these conditions from occurring, the project office regularly visits pharmacies, monitors a sufficient supply of medicines and conducts explanatory work on the sale of medicines not higher than the marginal prices.
