Salary for the 1st half of 2026 in the Altai region

For the first half of 2026, the average monthly nominal salary per employee (excluding small businesses engaged in entrepreneurial activity) in the Altai region amounted to 421.1 thousand tenge and increased by 8.8% in real terms compared to the first half of 2025, a decrease of 2.0%.

In the industry structure, the highest wages are for construction workers - 723.1 thousand tenge, which is 71.7% higher than the average seasonal level, industry - 548.3 thousand tenge, transport and warehousing - 442.5 thousand tenge.

The lowest wages are for employees providing other types of services - 106.2 thousand tenge, which is lower than the average seasonal level by 74.8%. Agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 180.4 thousand tenge (by 57.2%), arts, entertainment and recreation - 208.0 thousand tenge (by 50.6%), activities in the field of administrative and sup- port services - 212.3 thousand tenge (by 49.6%) provision of accommodation and catering services - 234 4 thousand tenge (by 44.4%).

In the first six months of 2026, the average monthly salary in the district was 3.6% lower than the regional average.
