Industry
During the reporting period, the volume of industrial production amounted to 111508.4 million tenge, the index of physical volume compared to last year amounted to 108.5%.

Agricultural industry
The gross output of agricultural products in January-June of this year amounted to 3336.7 million tenge, where the index of physical volume compared to last year amounted to 100.7%, including the output of crop production amounted to 486.1 million tenge, livestock 2848.2 million tenge.
During the reporting period, meat production decreased by 8.3% (582.5 tons), eggs increased by 4% (49.2 million pieces), milk by 0.1% (2876.4 tons).
In order to provide citizens with fresh vegetables, 8 greenhouses with a total area of 145.8 thousand m2 are functioning in the city of Uralsk.

Investment activity
During the reporting period, the volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 36009.4 million tenge, which is 96.6% compared to the corresponding period last year.
In total, 215.7 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned at the expense of all sources of financing, which is 115.9% compared to last year.
The volume of construction works amounted to -35,960 million tenge, which is 123.7% compared to the corresponding period last year.

Small business, trade
During the reporting period, 32476 small businesses were registered in the city, including 28127 operating ones.
Retail trade turnover amounted to 148.7 billion tenge, which is 101% compared to the corresponding level of 2021.

Labor market
Compared to the same period last year, the number of citizens who applied for employment assistance to employment agencies amounted to 4,758 people, which is 21% less than last year.
The number of registered unemployed amounted to 2,807 unemployed, which is 83% compared to last year.
1,389 unemployed people were employed, which is 40% less than last year.
317 people were sent to public works, which is 29% compared to last year.
The value of the subsistence minimum on average per capita, calculated based on the minimum standards of consumption of basic foodstuffs for January-June 2022 is 40607 tenge, which is 117% compared to last year.

Education
To date, 154 preschool organizations operate in the city, including: 50 state kindergartens, 1 kindergarten school, 84 private kindergartens, 19 state preschool mini-centers at secondary schools.
The coverage of children with preschool education and training from 3 to 6 years is 100%.
