2019 year

The first stage – creation of the product, within the framework of the national tourist portal “Kazakhstan.travel” on the projecting, designing and developing the System, in particular the following modules, has been implemented:

• module on inventory of accommodations;
• tourist registration module;
• analytics module;
• bed-tax calculation module;
• module on interaction with accommodations;
• account management module;
• action recording module;
• system events recording module.

The administrative part of the System and the promo page of the E-Hotel module have been developed as well.

The System was filled with the content; in particular, the database was modified with information on networks and locations.

2020 year

The next stage of the product development provides for the integration of the System with the relevant guest registration systems of accommodations, as well as with state databases (visa-migration portal of IS "Berkut") in order to receive and transmit the necessary information; development of additional functions of the system and mobile applications, etc. As a part of this stage the following will be provided:

- API development for Accommodation Information Systems (PMS);

- creation of Android, iOS versions, which will enable accommodations to register guests using a mobile phone;

- the development of additional functions, such as the implementation of artificial intelligence, which will enable to read and recognize documents and automatically fill in the appropriate fields in the system when registering guests;

- preparation and receipt of a security certificate, which will integrate the system with government databases;

- integration of the system with the State Databases and IS Berkut (NSC) to automate the procedure for receiving invitations, registration and notification on the arrival of foreign citizens by the accommodations;

- implementation of the system in accommodations in the cities of Astana and Almaty, as well as training of personnel.

E-hotel is a system created for the purpose of recording and transmitting data on guests checked into accommodations (hereinafter referred to as - the System), its aim is to maintain an up-to-date inventory of accommodations; to analyze a Big Data on inbound and outbound tourists; to anticipate and forecast tourist flows based on Big Data.

This system will enable to automatically calculate the touristic fee – “bed-tax”, provide notifications to the authorized authorities about the places of residence of foreign tourists, and also use the System as a means of communication with the accommodations.

The implementation of the E-Hotel system will contribute to creation of a favorable climate for tourists, facilitating accommodations to meet the requirements of mandatory notification on the arrival of foreign citizens, as well as further liberalization of the visa policy through the introduction of an electronic system for collecting, processing and analyzing information on the places of temporary residence of foreign visitors.
