Logo
The logo was designed by Ibuki Tada, a 4th-year student at the Department of Synthetic Design, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Tsukuba University of Technology. The central theme is a “circle,” representing human connection. The emblem features three motifs: a “hand” symbolizing the Deaf community, a “circle,” and a “flower.” It expresses how people connect through sport and the Deaflympics, forming a circle of community and exchange that blooms into new possibilities. The flower motif represents cherry blossom petals.
Mascot
The official mascot of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics is Yurito. Dressed in a t-shirt featuring cherry blossom colors, Yurito reflects unity with the tournament emblem, which includes cherry blossom petals. This blossom is a traditional symbol of Japan, with the Somei Yoshino cherry recognized as Tokyo’s official flower and widely associated with Japanese identity both domestically and abroad. The cherry blossom color will be the main visual theme of the tournament.
