To improve the appearance of the settlements of the Karaganda region, from April 17 to June 12 of this year, a spring two-month period for improvement, sanitary cleaning, and landscaping of settlements was announced. On June 5, 2021, the action "Birge taza Kazakhstan" was held, more than 120 teams, more than 2800 people took part, more than 400 tons of garbage were removed.
In 2021, funds in the amount of 2800.0 tenge were allocated to calculate the tariff for the collection, removal and disposal of municipal solid waste in the Osakarovskiy district. An agreement has been signed with LLP "Kazakhstan Waste Standardization Center", work is underway. Also in 2021, 2.2 million tenge was allocated from the district budget for sanitation, and 1 million tenge from the CSN.
